QUEZON CITY WAVES SWIM CLUB, INC. 

The QUEZON CITY WAVES SWIM CLUB, INC, a non-profit sports youth organization accredited by the Philippine Swimming Inc. (PHILSWIM) the official governing body of the aquatic sports in the Philippines, is now registered under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and by the Quezon City Government thru the Office QC Barangay and Community Relations Department. 

For more than twenty (20) years now, QC Waves Swim Club continuously provide  provide an opportunity for QC youth to engage in a whole-some, lifesaving, lifetime sport, and recreational activity of swimming.  QC Waves Swim Club promotes physical fitness and good patterns of physical development and encourage proper conditioning and health habits among the youth. It also provides opportunities for social, emotional, and educational development and encourage peer and family participation. The Club encourages members to compete in organized swimming competitions.
The swimming club is composed of boys and girls age-groupers from the beginner swimmer to the experienced competitor, and parents who provide the logistical needs of the Club.  The Club emphasizes the values of individual effort, teamwork, sportsmanship and a strong team spirit. 

Swimmers presently train year-round at the Amoranto Sports Complex, Roces Avenue, Quezon City, with regular practices and compete in organized swim meets against other swim teams in the country.  The swimmers are being coached by professional swimming coaches recognized by Philippine Swimming Inc.(PHILSWIM).

Currently, QC Waves Swim Club is training at Damar Village Swimming Pool because Amoranto Sports Complex is undergoing renovation. It is under the supervision and guidance of Cyrus Alcantara, the Head Coach of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Swimming Team.
